Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to our school website!
St Bart’s is a very special Place. There is a ‘family’ feel about the school and a sense of real belonging for everyone who joins our school community.
We share and subscribe to five Christian core values which are at the heart of everything we do at St Bart’s. These are expressed by a memorable acronym – BARTS – which stands for Believe, Achieve, Respect, Trust and Succeed. Our values ensure that everyone, from children to teachers, governors to parents and visitors from the local and wider community, feel safe and happy to take responsibility for their own lives, achieving their very best in a positive and nurturing environment.
We are immensely proud of our rich and dynamic curriculum which we believe is engaging, challenging, motivational and always relevant to our children’s lives as they learn and grow in the 21st century.
We have strong links with St Bartholomew’s Church. The whole school community participates in weekly collective worship sessions which are often held at the church and enthusiastically led by our rector, Chris Bessant.
We warmly invite parents and carers into our school at every opportunity because we recognise the very important role they play in their children’s education. The POBs (Parents of Bart’s) meet regularly and support the school in many different ways, including raising money through events such as school fairs and quizzes as well as providing refreshments at school events and organising parental support for school trips.
Thank you for visiting our website. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our school family.
